This is one of London's best centrally located hotels as it is situated on the edge of London's famed Theatreland and close to the cosmopolitan bustle of Covent Garden.

The Strand Palace Hotel has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment (2006-2007) to 300 bedrooms, public areas, restaurants and meeting rooms. You can now experience the latest standards of comfort together with everything you need right on the premises; from shops, restaurants and bars to a sophisticated conference and banqueting centre.

As well as being extremely close to London's Theatreland and Covent Garden, the City (London's financial district), Chinatown, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus are also just minutes away. For business guests, the hotel can offer 7 conference suites with full catering facilities.

Location; this was my 4th time staying there. The location is
perfect for me.

Very difficult to use the internet on the tv because the screen was too

The location is excellent.

(13.7.2008) There was a trainee clerk at the counter, who was extremely not-service oriented. You should train your clerks to a better customer service already from the very beginning.

The location was fabulous. We could walk to so many places and the surrouding area was alive and enjoyable. We felt safe.

The concierge advised us that we could only go to Wimbledon if we paid 2600 pounds each for a ticket. We enjoyed center court and did not pay 2600 pounds. We were not impressed with his lack of knowldge about Wimbledon.

We booked a Club Room which is supposed to entitle us to the Club Check
in Desk, but it was not open when we arrived and we had to queue up at
the reception in order to check in.

Location was great. Lobby was impressive. Room was tiny but complete in furnishings. Great deal on breakfast in one of the hotel restaurant.

Website indicated that the hotel offers no air-conditioning; this summer has been quite warm and air-conditioning would have been nice.

I did not need a huge room, but I did need a quiet and comfortable one.
The Strand was perfect. My room (725) was a cozy little nook with a view
of the courtyard, succinctly appointed, and quiet as the proverbial
church mouse.

If you're tall, be careful standing up in the shower!
