Staff was very friendly and corteous. I was first given a room on the second floor facing the street, and there were major roadworks taking place, creating a lot of noise. However, when I called reception, there was no problem in changing rooms, and within ten minutes I was installed in a different -- and quiet -- room. That they first gave me a room on the second floor facing the street where there were major road works going on through the night. |

The reception was very friendly and informative. The business centre was convenient to use. My room was facing the inner courtyard and was visible from the corridor. The concierge appeared to be somewhat unfriendly on certain shifts, which provided a sharp contrast from the reception desk staff across the entrance, less than 20 feet away. I got a distinct feeling that the unfriendly conceirge was ill at east in dealing with Asian visitors although I could speak good English to them. |

It is quiet so that you can sleep long without being woken up by cleaning staff. The room could have been better cleaned. There were hairs in the bath tub and a lot of the furniture had a thick coating of grey dust. The reception on the tv was not good and every time the sink in or the toilet in the bathroom were used it resulted in a strong smell of sewage from the outlet in the bath tub. People at the reception were notyfied about this. Nothing were done about it. |

helpful personnel, the rooms were really cozy (not as in tiny) overlooking the canal, really enjoyed been able to sleep up to 13.30 on the Sunday (late check-out policy) |

Staff were helpful and location is great. Decor of room and hallways, massively outdated, nowhere near 5 star standard. As a result I felt the hotel was poor value for money. |
